She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Lathas and Angelica Lathas (Varzeliotis); her spouse Eleas "Louis" Vitas; her son Theodore L. Vitas; and her sisters, Jennie T. Sanborn (William) and Julia C. Karcasinas (Peter).
She is survived by: her son James L. Vitas (Jean) of Marco Island, FL; her daughter-in-law Mary Beth Vitas of Hampton, NH; her grandchildren, Charrissa Vitas Crosby (Bryan), E. Zachary Vitas (Katherine Elizabeth), James L. Vitas, II, Kayla Jean Vitas, Lucas D. Vitas (Melissa) and Jamie Beth Vitas; and her great grandchildren, Ryder James Vitas, Farrah Belle Crosby, Mason Eleas Vitas, Zoe E. Vitas and Ella R. Vitas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
