He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cook and Martha Cook (Mihalak). He is survived by: his wife Donna Eckels; his children, Brenda Marquis and James Eckels; his grandchildren, Charles Lacerte and Katrina Lacerte; and his siblings, Steven Eckels, Patricia McCloskey and Michael Cook. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
