Margaret Wood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2020, at the age of 91, Margaret Wood of Hampstead, New Hampshire, born in Strafford, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Russell and Dorothy Russell (Russell); her husband Stanley L. Wood; and her sisters, Vivian Kill and Gladys Pixley.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wood (Lisa) of New London, NH, Karen Preston (Ronald) of South Hampton, NH, Patricia Mayo (Walter) of Stafford Springs, CT and Deborah Lacasse (Michael) of Manchester, NH; her grandchildren, Vanessa Mayhew, Joshua Mayo, Mark Lacasse, Jill Hiers, Kathryn DeCosta, Anne Preston, Thomas Wood and Ian Wood; and her great grandchildren, Elijah, Grace, Eva, Cora Mayhew, Ezra, Silas, Ainley, Zoe Claire Mayo, Emily, Joshua Hiers, Ellie, Matthew Lacasse, Sophia and Maggie DeCosta.
Relatives and friends are invited to Margaret's Graveside Service at 1 pm on Friday August 21, 2020, at Atkinson Cemetery, 118 NH-121, Atkinson, NH, following the guidelines of the State of New Hampshire for social distancing and the wearing of face masks.
