He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliot S. Morse and Mary E. Morse (Cosgrove); his wife Joyce Morse; his son-in-law Michael Ferreira; and his siblings, Paul Olson, Jere Ralls and Joan McGovern.
He is survived by: his grandson Kyle; his children, Rose Ferreira of Methuen, MA and James J. Morse, Jr. (Jenny) of Queensbury, NY; his granddaughters, Sarah Paine and Madelyn Morse; his sister Lucielle Smalley of Wilmington, MA; and his close friend Betty Dow of Groveton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
