He was predeceased by: his parents, F. Carl McKearney and Helen I. McKearney (Styles); and his son Edwin "Eddie" McKearney. He is survived by: his wife Leona McKearney (Potter); his children, Tammy McKearney (Bob Bean) and Wade McKearney of Stratford Hollow; and his sister Wava Adams (Jerry) of Groveton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
