She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Parker and Geneva Parker; and her husband Robert Powers. She is survived by: her children, James Powers, Kristy Powers, Robert Powers (Kelly Powers), Stacy Powers (Mike Coutu) and Melinda Powers; her grandchildren, Kristopher Powers, Ashley Page, Carly Powers, Natasha Elms, Shaun Powers and Dylan Powers; and her great grandchildren, Jaimison Elms and Shaelynn Wallen.
