He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alton Fairfield and Mabel Fairfield (Sweeney); his wife Joanne; his brother Wilfred Parenteau Jr. (Linda); his stepchildren, Joseph Hoyt (Darragh) and Sherry Flint; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Kerrah, Heidi, Kylee and Nate; his great grandchildren, Joseph and Madeline; and his nephew Thomas Sweeney (Lisa). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
