He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Belback and Walter Belback of Bloomingdale, IL.. He is survived by: his wife Diane Belback (Nottebart) of Grafton, NH; his children, Laura Belback of Grafton, NH, Madeleine Belback (Oliver Wood) of Chicago, IL and Daniel Belback of Chicago, IL.; his siblings, Mary Belback of Bloomingdale, IL, Carol Baer (Bob) of Chillicothe, IL, Greg Belback (Donna) of Batavia, IL, Walter Belback (Rosemary Hoffman) of Waukegan, IL. and Don; his sister-in-law Mary Nottebart of Pelham, NH; and his mother-in-law Helen Nottebart of Windham, NH. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Please make donations to the Friends of Cardigan Mountain and/or the Grafton and Canaan Volunteer Fire Departments, who did all they could to carry Joe out of the woods to try to save him.
