The passing of Gary Herschel of Grafton, New Hampshire leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 73. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Deane Herschel and Virginia Herschel. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Anoe, Dennis Herschel (Amy) and Penny Douyard (Barry); his children, Heidi Jo Hillock, Sarah Foote (Michael) and Haley Moorman (Kenneth); his stepsons, Matthew Lynch (Melissa) and Nathan Lynch; his grandchildren, Hannah, Connor, Sophie, Zoey, Jesse, Kaydence, Camdyn, Eleanor, Alyssa, Kristina, Dillon, Jody, Jocelyn, Mikayla, Anna and Cooper; his wife Gail Ida Herschel; his mother-in-law Marjorie Whittaker; and his brother-in-law Brad Gurney (Linda). He is also survived by his children and stepchildren, his 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, his siblings.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Canaan Street Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Gary's memory to New Hampshire SPCA in Gary's name.
