He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Ash and Blanche Ash (Hillsgrove); his wife Patricia Ash; his son Stanley Ash; and his siblings, Sidney, Wesley, Stanley, Leslie, Archie, Everett, Warren, Edgar Ash, Ruth Haselton, Hazel Reed, Richard and Ralph.
He is survived by: his children, James Ash (Beth) of Newport, Phillip "Tuffa" Ash (Teresa) of Newport and Terry Young (Robert) of Unity; his sister Betty Leatherberry of Unity; and his pet Bud. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many extended family.
