He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Annabelle Liggett Walz; his children, Philip Liggett Walz, Jeanne Karlin Gorham (Walz), Michael Adolf Walz and Caroline Steele Carlson (Walz); his siblings, Doris Eugene Titus (Walz), Hans George Walz and Ursula Louise Walz; and his parents, Adolf Walz and Gertrude Catherine Walz (Karlin). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
