He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Chauvette and Annette Chauvette (Chaput). He is survived by: his significant other Jacqueline Fournier; his children, Joanne Wilson (Scott), Kevin Chauvette (Stacey), Keith Chauvette (Melissa Voisine) and Jodie LaBossiere; his siblings, Denise Roy (Bob), Michelle Shaw, Francis Callison (Kenny) and Dennis Chauvette (Sue); his grandchildren, Melissa, Monique, Nichole, Abigail, Tyson, Bailey and Victoria; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Khailani, Brayden and Jaelyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
