He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bethune and Eileen Bethune (Strugnell); his mother-in-law Laura Gagnon; and his grandparents, Allan, Ruth Bethune, Frank and Lizzie Strugnell.
He is survived by: his wife Vanessa (Gagnon); his children, Barry (Tricia) and Tara; his grandsons, Cody, Josh, Ben and Lucas; his siblings, Cheryl Fitzgerald (Brian), Allan and Gregg Bethune; and his parents-in-law, Paul, Joanne Gagnon, Lisa, Randy Cole and Paula Bethune. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles along with many cousins.
