He was predeceased by: his mother Eunice Manley Harding (Briggs). He is survived by: his father Bruce Elmer Harding; his siblings, Holly Harding of Florida and Jeffrey Harding of Maine; his wife Ellen D. Harding (Gladwell); his son Eric T. Harding of New Hampshire; and his siblings, Pamela Picheco and Johnathan Harding of Connecticut. He is also survived by two granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.

Because of his contributions to the IDPA, he was invited to be a member of a Tiger Team for IDPA improvements related to rulebook updates.
