He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred C. Braid and Ruth Braid (Cochran). He is survived by: his wife Susanne Braid (Oyster House); his son Christopher; his daughter-in-law Holly Braid; his children, Charles Braid Jr. and Susan Serino; his grandchildren, Joseph and Autumn Braid; his brother George; his sister-in-law Dianne Braid; his brother James; and his sister-in-law Francine Braid. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
