It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Nichols of Freedom, New Hampshire, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert F. Thurrell, Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Geo; her daughters, Debra Hanson (Mike) of Rockford, IL and Barbara Nichols (Kip Reynolds) of Falmouth, ME; and her siblings, Robert F. Thurrell III (Lynn) of Pownal, ME, Peter Thurrell of West Dummerston and Nancy Thurrell of Meredith, NH. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
RSVP of Carroll County, NH awarded Peg the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2017.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Rt. 1 Scarborough, ME 04074 for their support and comfort of Peg in her final weeks.
