He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Waters Sr. and Alice Waters (Ford); and his sister Martha O'Connor. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Waters (Decareau); his children, Nancy Waters (Benjamin Lieberman) of Acton, John L. Waters (Suzanne) and Beth Waters (Vikram Rao) of Maynard; his grandchildren, Amanda Waters of Allston, Katherine Waters of Maynard, Indira Rao of Somerville, Anjali Rao of Maynard, Isabel and Samuel Lieberman of Acton; his daughter-in-law Hannah Soparker of Maynard; and his siblings, Judith Fitzpatrick of Northbridge, Elaine Burke, Nancy LaPlante, Michael Waters and James Waters. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and long-cherished friends.
