He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Cate and Mary Cate (Gardini); his friend Warren; his former wife Rita Cate (Cote); his wife Betty Cate (Hall) of Franklin; his children, Gail Lefebvre (Tony) of Duxbury, MA and Gregory Cate (Deborah) of Manchester, CT; his grandchildren, Kathryn Lefebvre, Kristen Harkinson (Benjamin), Daniel Lefebvre (Mary), David Lefebvre (Anna), Jeffrey Cate and Timothy Cate; his great grandchildren, Lucy, Maeve, Dev, Sadie, Josephine, William, Jacob and Henry; and his pet Nikki. He was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
