He was predeceased by: his parents, John Coates and Elizabeth Coates (Wilson); and his siblings, Betty Paskovich, Carol Bennett and Norman Coates.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Coates (Colburn) of Franklin; and his siblings, Harriet Lombard of Laconia and Ernest Coates.
Walk-through visiting hours will be on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. (Mask and social distancing are requested).
