He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. Jr. Scott and Elizabeth M. Scott (Hoar); and his sister Nancy Denaris Sleeper. He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis E. Scott (Sue) of Turner Falls, MA., Cheryl Gearin of Middlesex, NC and Patti Carter of Sanbornton.
