With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Schaffer (Franconia, New Hampshire), who passed away on August 27, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouses, Ariel Williams Sullivan and Patricia Forsyth Owen; and his stepchildren, Adrienne Sullivan Smith, James W. Sullivan, Christopher Owen and Patricia Owen Taylor. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
