It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David E. Schaffer (Franconia, New Hampshire), who passed away on September 3, 2018, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouses, Ariel Williams Sullivan and Patricia Forsyth Owen; and his stepchildren, Adrienne Sullivan Smith, James W. Sullivan, Christopher Owen and Patricia Owen Taylor. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
