She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard D. Mercer, Sr. and Annie Mercer (Dawe); her former husband Walter M. Garland, Jr.; her spouse Water M. Garland, Jr.; her sons, Walter M. Garland, III (Thayer), Wayne D. Garland (late Cheryl Petroni), William P. Garland (Waneta), Wendall R. "Bobby" Garland (Karen) and Wichard "Dickie" Pollard (Lillian); and her sister Nancy Cohen. She was also cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter.
