He was predeceased by: his parent Maynard Briggs. He is survived by: his parent Ruth Avery Briggs; his children, Christopher Briggs, Nathan Briggs and Sandra Westbrook; his grandchildren, Riley, Ella, Logan and Owen; his sister Pam Dupee; his nephew Scott; and his niece Becca.
