She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert E. MacPhail and Constance E. MacPhail (Calderwood); her brother Albert E. MacPhail, Jr. (Robert N. Heinlein); and her daughter Jane E. Heinlein. She is survived by: her husband Robert N. Heinlein; her sister Catherine M. Britton of New Hampshire; her sister-in-law Elizabeth H. Seibert of Virginia; her sons, Robert N. Heinlein, Jr. (Nancy) of Maine and Richard A. Heinlein (Rebecca) of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Erich R. Heinlein (Heather) of Tennessee, Jessica A. Heinlein of Washington, Laura H. Lilly (Ben) of Georgia and Elizabeth M. Heinlein of South Carolina; and her great grandchildren, Max, Oliver and Rebecca. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
