He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Cotton and Mary Cotton (Borsey); and his siblings, James Cotton, Michael Cotton and Charlene Meroski (Cotton).
He is survived by: his wife Judith Cotton (Manka); his children, Charles J. Cotton, Jr. (Teri Cotton), John M. (Marilyn Cotton) and Mary Mignano; and his brother Mark A. Cotton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
