He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest T. Parsons and Marion E. Parsons (Wendell); and his wife Marilyn A. Parsons (Porter). He is survived by: his sister Lynn Thompson (Brad E. Thompson); his brother-in-law James B. Porter; his children, Steven R. Parsons, Nancy A. Bilodeau (Tom Bilodeau), Susan L. Waite-York (Dick York) and Sarah B. Tompkins (David Tompkins); his grandchildren, Jeff Hoffman, Laura Brown (Hoffman), Rebecca Waite, Zachary Waite, Alex Tompkins and Aidan Tompkins; and his friend Lois Tierney.
