He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Annabelle B. Kunsman (Santmyers) and Raymond W. Kunsman, Sr.; his wife Phyllis L. Kunsman (Gasull); his children, Mark C. Kunsman, Jeffrey R. Kunsman (Barb VanSteinburg) of Dysart and Karen E. Gerome (Stuart Gerome) of Greenland; and his grandchildren, Lee, Chris, Mark, Emily, Mathew, Nicole, Michaela and Serena. He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
