He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John H. Smallwood and Margaret Smallwood (McArdle); his siblings, Sallie Michaud, Robert Smallwood, James Smallwood and Herbert Smallwood; his daughter Jeanne Perry; his son-in-law Timothy Perry; his grandsons, John Perry and Samuel Perry (Corinne Clifford); and his siblings, Ellen Cameron, Margaret "Bitsy" McGuirk and Thomas Smallwood. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
