He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Franz Schmoock and Meta Schmoock (Krack); his children, Helmut W. Schmook, Jr. (Arlene) of Murrell's Inlet, SC, Tony Schmoock (Diane) of Chester, NH and Heike Cooper (Robert Cooper) of Eastville, VA; his brother Horst Schmoock (Pauline) of South Boston, MA; his former wife Helga Schmoock; and his sons, Uwe and Thomas Schmoock. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
