He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Cortina and Eleodora Cortina (Ojeda). He is survived by: his wife Giovanna; his children, Claudia, Rafael, Florencia, Maria Lucia and Gloria; and his grandchildren, Veronica, Karina, Annabelle, Lucas and Alexander.

Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or St. Michael Church.
