He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Kollmorgen and Otto Kollmorgen. He is survived by: his wife Diane (Howell) of Exeter; and his sons, Stuart (Amy) of New York City, Andrew (Jacinta) of Avalon, Australia, Matthew (Judy) of Wolfeboro, NH and John (Becky) of North Hampton, NH.. He is also survived by grandchildren.
