He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Sr. Mitchell and Charlotte M. Mitchell (Stinson); and his wife Shirley F. Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Denise M. Mitchell and Dennis E. Mitchell (Donna); and his brother Peter Mitchell (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
