He was predeceased by: his parent George W. Forbes; and his wife Theresa Forbes. He is survived by: his parent Eda Forbes (Harrimen); his children, Wilbur Forbes (Beverly) of Newmarket and Donna F. Fogg (Robert) of Kittery, ME; and his brother Kenneth Forbes.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
