He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Edward Gibney; and his nephew Christopher Buxton. He is survived by: his mother Delia "Annette" Gibney (Jacques); his daughters, Bethany Gibney and Alison Gibney; his brother Bobby; his sister-in-law Amy Gibney; his sister Kathy Gibney; his brother-in-law Jason Raymond; and his nieces, Lexi Gibney and Jessica McKinnon.
