Daniel Kimmel wrote a sympathy message

“Dad I will miss the the laughs we had even though sometimes they made April’s eyes roll lol. The chess games we played were always a great time. I loved listening to you play guitar and talking about your Army days. Spending the holidays with you were special. I always felt welcome up there at your home. I will miss you. R.I.P. Soldier! Love, Dan”
