He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Foster Jarvis and Caxton Croxford Foster; his wife Leigh Anne; his children, Kelley (Chris), Alexander Jr. (Meaghan) and Michelle (Matt); his grandchildren, Alexander III, Mary, Matthew, Rose and Harrison; and his siblings, Nedra Foster Hecker (Bruce), Anne Foster Van Dyke (Peter), Greg Foster (Susan), Prudence Foster Walter (Michael), Peter R. Jarvis (Anne) and Pamela Jarvis. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
