He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis E. Pettingill and Carrie Pettingill (Hunt); and his wife Ramona Pettingill (George). He is survived by: his children, Karen L. Pettingill of Canterbury, Bob Pettingill of Webster and Louis E. Pettingill, III of Plymouth. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
