He was predeceased by: his parents, William Beattie and Goldie Beattie (Giroux). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Beattie of Enfield; and his children, William Beattie, Jr. (Melissa), Joseph Beattie, Marshall Beattie (Yvonne Martin), Scott Beattie (Joan), David Beattie (Mary) and Margaret Farley (Sheldon). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
