She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bernard and Marie Bernard (Morin); and her sister Melia. She is survived by: her husband Vern Merrihew; and her children, Vern Jr. (Patty) and Rita Brown (Robert). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Violet's name may be made to the First Baptist Church in Lebanon, NH.
