It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. DuMez Jr. of Enfield, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Alan DuMez Sr. and Elizabeth DuMez; his wife Susan Wheeler; his brother Robert DuMez (Viki DuMez); his nieces and nephews, Lincoln Quirk and Morgan Quirk; his children, Jacob DuMez (Lizzie Lincoln) and Leah Boyle (Tommy Boyle); his grandchildren, Hannah Boyle, Caeli-Grace Boyle, Aubrey Boyle, Madeline Boyle, Ella Lincoln-DuMez and Zev Lincoln-DuMez; and also Elizabeth DuMez.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Haven at https://uppervalleyhaven.org, which provides temporary shelter and educational programming for homeless families and adults, an organization for which Dick volunteered and about which Dick cared deeply.
