He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Georgianna Ryea, Sr. (Loupis). He is survived by: his parent-in-law Shirley J. Kendall; his wife Shirley Reya; his children, Richard Ryea, Alisa Ryea and Kelley Lucas (Tristen); and his siblings, Brian Ryea (Theresa), Shirley J. MacDonald, June Smith (Charlie) and Marilynn Capron (Lucien). He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great grandson.
