He was predeceased by: his son Dean Alan; and his brothers, Jerry and Mark. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his daughters, Kathleen (Russell Loncaric) of Virginia and Christine (Patrick Carberry) of Wakefield; his grandchildren, Michael, Georgia and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Anabelle, Michael and Maverick; and his brothers, David (Jessica) and Brian (Barbara) of North Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
