She was predeceased by: her parents, Costa Goulart and Mary Goulart (Silva); and her son Peter J. Polito. She is survived by: her children, Ronald J. Polito and Maryann Southers; and her grandchildren, Lisa Manzi, Peter J. Polito, Ronald J. Polito, Janean Polito and Jewel Southers. She is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
She donated her time to the Soup Kitchen in Boston.
