He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Bruce Clayton and Irene Clayton (Dallon). He is survived by: his wife Dale (Hubley); his children, Robert E. Lane, Danielle A. Solari (Andrew), Erin E. Stephens (Jason) and Charles A. Clayton (Lauren Salk); his grandchildren, Sofia, Arabella, Stone Solari, Samuel Stephens and Oscar Clayton; his sister Janice Hadley (Michael); his niece Jennifer Henderson (Kenneth); his nephew Matthew Hadley; his mother-in-law Claire W. Hubley; and his aunt Gertrude Clayton.
