He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William H. Middleton and Mildred Mary Middleton; his wife Susan Ruth Jenson; his friend Kathleen Cianci; his son Shawn Middleton (Amy) of Durham; his grandchildren, Mia Sweet of Kittery, ME and Benjamin Middleton of Durham; his siblings, Bob Middleton of Ohio and Arlene Lashway of New York; his nieces, Lori and Beth; and his nephew Scott.
