He is survived by: his wife Kathy Zaiatz of Durham; his stepdaughters, Jenn Macek Conway (Ricky Conway) of Dover and Kelley Scardina (Cory Scardina) of Berwick, ME.; his grandchildren, Tyler Hughes, Colby Conway, Mackenzie and Benjamin Scardina; and his siblings, Robert Zaiatz (Bob), Karen, Kenneth Zaiatz (Elaine), James Zaiatz (Karen) and Donna Whitcomb (David).
