He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce V. Quire Woodworth; his daughter Jean V. Woodworth; his stepson Steve Sloan; his siblings, Harold C. Woodworth, John C. Woodworth, Alice W. Davis and Martha W. Kunze; and his niece Kathryn Kunze.
He is survived by: his grandchild Chris; his wife Marie Bevis Woodworth of Florence; his children, James Woodworth (Sally) of Blairsville, GA and Anne Woodworth of Florence; his grandson Christopher Woodworth of Blairsville, GA.; his stepdaughter-in-law Donna Sloan; and his stepgranddaughter Taylor Sloan of Powell, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Habitat for Humanity.
