With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Caldwell of Durham, New Hampshire, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 16, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving U. Townsend and Helen Townsend (Burnett); her husband Charles B. Caldwell; and her brothers, Irving, Robert and John.
She is survived by: her children, Charles E. Caldwell (Jody Tompkins Rogers) of North Hampton, John T. Caldwell (Janice) of Penfield, NY and Cynthia E. Caldwell (Linda Petersen) of Portsmouth; her grandchildren, Teddy, Christina, Heidi, Lauren and Leslie; and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Annie and Austin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
