He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott James Pirie and Etta Ann MacInnes; his wife Lucille; his brothers, Elliott Pirie and Robert Pirie; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Pirie, Almerinda Pirie, Robert Robbins of Vermont, Donald Higgins of Arlington Ohio, Kate Higgins of Arlington Ohio and Barbara DeFronzo of Columbia Maryland.
He is survived by: his children, Lisabeth Pirie of Leominster, Korinna Hudson of Nashua, Christopher (Kathleen Pirie) of Portsmouth and Sandra Pirie-St of Marlboro; his sister Ellen Robbins of Barre; his brother-in-law Rocco DeFronzo of Columbia; and also, Ethan of Portsmouth, Graham Pirie of Portsmouth, Thomas Ippolito of Portsmouth, Michael Ippolito of Portsmouth, Timothy St of Marlboro, Amour of Marlboro, Madison of Marlboro and Griffin of Marlboro. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
